Press Release for the sixth Transnational Partners Meeting of the European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers”

The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs- I.R.T.E.A hosted the sixth Transnational Partners Meeting of the European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” which was funded under the Erasmus+ Programme in the Youth Sector.

 

The meeting took place in Athens on Tuesday 17 December 2019 at the headquarters of I.R.T.E.A  (Favierou 39, 104 38, Athens, Greece) and was attended by the representatives of the partner organisations of the project.

 

The aim of the final Transnational Partners Meeting of the “STEPS – Youth Centers” project was to finalize the project report and assess the final results and the overall impact of the project. A crucial topic of discussion of the meeting concerned the sustainability of the project and future cooperation between the members of consortium.

The European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” aims at operating 4 pilot youth centers in 4 Greek Municipalities while providing online courses to various beneficiaries. In these 4 youth centers, students, teachers, unemployed young people and municipal employees will be trained and informed on issues like EU citizenship, social enterprises, modern educational methods and funding opportunities for both young entrepreneurs as well as school facilities.
