Press Release of the 5th Transnational Partners Meeting of the Project “STEPS – Youth Centers”

The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs- I.R.T.E.A hosted the fifth Transnational Partners Meeting of the Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” which was funded under the Erasmus+ Programme in the Youth Sector.

The meeting took place in Athens on Friday 06 December 2019 at the headquarters of I.R.T.E.A (Favierou 39, 104 38, Athens, Greece) and was attended by representatives of the partner organizations of the project.

During the fifth Partners Meeting, the consortium discussed issues of project and financial management and analyzed the results of the implementation of the project activities in terms of their impact. Moreover, the hosting organisation presented to the attendants the final version of the Intellectual Outputs that were developed within the project. Visibility of the project, dissemination of the activities, sustainability issues as well as finalization of financial controls were also analyzed and discussed by the partners.

The European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” aims at operating 4 pilot youth centers in 4 Greek Municipalities while providing online courses to various beneficiaries. In these 4 youth centers, students, teachers, unemployed young people and municipal employees will be trained and informed on issues like EU citizenship, social enterprises, modern educational methods and funding opportunities for both young entrepreneurs as well as school facilities.
