FOURTH TRANSNATIONAL PARTNERS MEETING FOR THE EUROPEAN PROJECT “STEPS – YOUTH CENTERS”

The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs- I.R.T.E.A hosted the fourth Transnational Partners Meeting of the European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” which was funded under the Erasmus+ Programme in the Youth Sector.

 

The meeting took place in Athens on Thursday 21 November 2019 at the headquarters of I.R.T.E.A (Favierou 39, 104 38, Athens, Greece) and was attended by the representatives of the partner organisations of the project.

 

The aim of the meeting was to discuss upon issues of project management (timeline and updates of the project implementation, schedule of activities etc) as well as the dissemination activities and the overall visibility of the project. Moreover, during the meeting, the lead partner, which coordinates the project, provided support and clarifications to the partnering Municipalities that implement the pilot phase of the operation of the Youth Centers and the online workshops. The consortium also reflected on the impact and the forthcoming results of the project activities and discussion about the sustainability of the project was held as well.

The European Project “STEPS – Youth Centers” aims at operating 4 pilot youth centers in 4 Greek Municipalities while providing online courses to various beneficiaries. In these 4 youth centers, students, teachers, unemployed young people and municipal employees will be trained and informed on issues like EU citizenship, social enterprises, modern educational methods and funding opportunities for both young entrepreneurs as well as school facilities.
