Press Release for the European Project “NEETo Work”

The Institute of Research and Training on European Affairs- I.R.T.E.A, on the grounds of the Erasmus+ Programme for youth, took part in the “NEETo Work” project which took place from the 1st of October until the 11th of October 2019 at the town of Bistrita in Romania. At this Youth Exchange, 38 younf people took part from different countries of Europe. (Romania, Greece,Italy, Lithuania and Slovenia)

The organizer of this youth exchange was Bistrita Business Academy. Main objective of the project was the study of the NEET situation in Europe and the initiatives of the respected governments and local authorities.

In order for the participants to be more acquainted with the terminology, the organizers set up a day meeting in the local structures of the region, were the NEET situation is been studied and countered.

On the grounds of informal training the, organizers implemented workshops in matters such as:

  • CV creation
  • Business Canvas Creation
  • Creating your own Advert
  • Study Visits in Local businesses
  • Open Dialogues with young Entrepreneurs

In the spirit of co-operation I.R.T.E.A organized a workshop, about how a international company operates, and live the experience through a simulation.
