Το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Θαλάσσιων Ερευνών (ΕΛ.ΚΕ.Θ.Ε), συμμετέχοντας ενεργά στο Ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα Sea For Society (SFS) διοργανώνει μια Ημερίδα Διαβούλευσης για Νέους Πολίτες, για τις προκλήσεις που σχετίζονται με την θάλασσα και τα αγαθά που προσφέρει στην κοινωνία, στις 2 & 4 Ιουλίου 2013. Η συμμετοχή στην Ημερίδα είναι ανοιχτή σε νέους ηλικίας 18-28 χρονών και οι θέσεις, με σειρά προτεραιότητας, είναι από 20-25 για κάθε ημέρα.The Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), participating actively in the European program Sea For Society (SFS), organizes on 2 & 4 July a Consultation Workshop for Young Citizens, concerning the challenges that are related to the sea and the goods that it offers to the society. The participation in the workshop is open to young people 18-28 and the places, in priority order, are 20-25 for each day.
The program Sea For Society (SFS) is an answer to the continuously growing need for ensuring the sustainable management of goods related to the sea, taking into consideration the society’s need for a prosperous, gradual economic development.
The main goal of the program, in which 9 European countries participate, is to create the appropriate conditions for public dialogue and cooperation among the interested parts, the simple citizens and the young people, in order to spot the social challenges that arise in the coastal and marine ecosystems, in relation to the goods that they offer to the society.
Moreover, it will create interesting partnerships and it will encourage the active participation of the public in research as well as the taking initiatives to address the social challenges that keep growing.
Two Consultation Workshops, on 2 and 4 July respectively, will give the opportunity to the public to actively participate in shaping a sustainable use of sea, to express its opinion and make its voice heard on issues that directly concerns it.
The Consultation Workshop for Citizens & Young People will take place at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (www.hcmr.gr) on 2 July 2013 and it will be repeated with new participants on 4 July.

Un Colloque des Jeunes Citoyens, organisé par le Centre Hellénique de Recherches Marines dans le cadre de sa vive participation au projet européen intitulé « Sea For Society » (SFS), aura lieu le 2 & 4 juillet 2013 avec comme sujet les défis relatifs à la mer et ses bienfaits pour la société. Des jeunes âgés de 18 à 28 ans sont invités d’y participer. Activité d’environ 20 – 25 places par jour en priorité.
Le projet « Sea For Society » (SFS) répond à l’exigence toujours grandissante de gestion durable des biens naturels issus de la mer, vu que la société a besoin d’un développement progressif et durable de son économie.
Le projet, dont font partie 9 pays européens, a pour objectif principal de déterminer les conditions appropriées pour des débats publics et des partenariats entre les parties prenantes, les citoyens et les jeunes en vue d’identifier les défis sociaux relatifs aux écosystèmes marins et côtiers par rapport aux bienfaits qui en résultent pour la société.
Le projet vise aussi à établir des synergies importantes et d’encourager la contribution à la recherche et la prise des initiatives de la part des gens en vue de faire face aux défis sociaux de plus en plus croissants.
Les deux Colloques, qui se tiendront respectivement le 2 et le 4 juillet, permettront au public plus large de participer à la mise en place de la gestion durable de la mer, de faire entendre leurs opinions et de lever leur voix en ce qui concerne des sujets dans lesquels ils sont directement impliqués.
Le Colloque des Citoyens & des Jeunes aura lieu le 2 juillet 2013 dans les locaux du Centre Hellénique de Recherches Marines (www.hcmr.gr) et à une deuxième reprise le 4 juillet.

Το πρόγραμμα Sea For Society (SFS) είναι μια απάντηση στην συνεχώς αυξανόμενη ανάγκη για την διασφάλιση της αειφόρου διαχείρισης των αγαθών που σχετίζονται με την θάλασσα, λαμβάνοντας υπόψην την ανάγκη της κοινωνίας για ευημερή, σταδιακή οικονομική ανάπτυξη.
Ο κύριος στόχος του προγράμματος, στο οποίο συμμετέχουν 9 χώρες από όλη την Ευρώπη, είναι να δημιουργήσει τις κατάλληλες συνθήκες για δημόσιο διάλογο και συνεργασία ανάμεσα στα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη, τους απλούς πολίτες και τους νεόυς, για να εντοπιστούν οι κοινωνικές προκλήσεις που προκύπτουν στα παράκτια και θαλάσσια οικοσυστήματα, σε σχέση με τα αγαθά που αυτά προσφέρουν στην κοινωνία.
Επιπλέον, θα δημιουργήσει ενδιαφέρουσες συνεργασίες και θα ενθαρρύνει την ενεργή συμμετοχή του κοινού στην έρευνα αλλά και την ανάληψη πρωτοβουλιών για την αντιμετώπιση των κοινωνικών προκλήσεων που ολοένα και μεγαλώνουν.
Δύο Ημερίδες Διαβούλευσης, στις 2 και 4 Ιουλίου αντίστοιχα, θα δώσουν την ευκαιρία στο ευρύ κοινό να συμμετέχει ενεργά στην διαμόρφωση μιας βιώσιμης χρήσης της θάλασσας, να πει την γνώμη του και να κάνει την φωνή του να ακουστεί σε θέματα που το αφορούν άμεσα.
Η Ημερίδα Διαβούλευσης για Πολίτες & Νέους θα λάβει χώρα στο Ελληνικό Κέντρο Θαλάσσιων Ερευνών (www.hcmr.gr) στις 2 Ιουλίου 2013 και θα επαναληφθεί με καινούριους συμμετέχοντες στις 4 Ιουλίου.
