Human Library on Holocaust Remembrance event,Friday, 12 February 2021, 12:00 CET

The Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs, as the leading organisation of the “Remember Holocaust- Building Bridges for a common future” project, funded by the EU Program Europe for Citizens, organizes the event “Human Library on Holocaust Remembrance”. The Human Library event will take place virtually, via the ZOOM platform,at Friday 12 February 2021, 12:00 CET.

During the Library, the books will become alive. Survivors of Holocaust and their descendants, members of the Jewish community as well as researchers and civil society representatives will share with us their experiences or stories that they have heard about Holocaust. “Living Books” and “readers” will wander through stories of stereotypes and racism, sending the message of equality, inclusion, respect and protection of human rights.

Young people, University students, representatives from the Jewish communities, researchers and academics, local decision-makers, civil society members and any other group who is interested in the topic are invited to participate to the event.

For attending the meeting, submission of the application form is mandatory.
