The speakers of the conference, Mr. Konstantinopoulos, former Deputy Minister of
Development on NSRF topics, Mr. D. Tsingos, Founder and Head of Entrepreneurship at
Starttech Ventures and Mr. X. Kounavis, Technology & Innovation Manager SLEED,
developed their personal experiences to the attendees, about the contribution of their
professional efforts to the restoration of the Greek economy within the crisis. Coordinator
of the discussion was Mr. Dourakis, Journalist at Alpha TV channel.
The speakers highlighted the difficulties and the challenges of consolidating and developing
new businesseswithin the crisis. At the same time, they highlighted the need to access
barriers and support the domestic economy, through innovative actions, having youth as a
driving force.
Mr. Constantinopoulos, as former Deputy Minister of Development, described the reality
that experienced during his term and commented on the government decisions, their
results, and the prospects for improving domestic economy.
Mr. Tsigos and Mr. Kounavis, shared their experience with the participants, regarding the
needs of the Greek market and economy, as well as the essential role that technology
should play in the domestic development.
At the end of the conference, the participants, had the opportunity to discuss with the
speakers and raised questions about the development of Greek economy.
Right after the end of the conference, the participants, were guided to the hotel, where the
volunteer festival was held jointly with the Money Show, and they were informed by the
staff of each organization about their actions, while special interest was expressed for the
actions of IRTEA.
