Το Ινστιτούτο Έρευνας & Κατάρτισης Ευρωπαϊκών Θεμάτων καθιερώνει έναν νέο Θεσμό στην Ελλάδα, το “European Economic Forum”. Έμπνευση για την δημιουργία του European Economic Forum αποτέλεσε η απουσία ενημέρωσης επί Οικονομικών Ευρωπαϊκών Θεμάτων ακόμη και μετά την οικονομική κρίση. Το European Economic Forum έχει σκοπό εν πρώτης την ενημέρωση και έπειτα τη συζήτηση μεταξύ πολιτών, καθηγητών, στελεχών εταιρειών, εκπροσώπων της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών και αξιωματούχους Κρατών και Ευρωπαϊκών Οργανισμών, ώστε μέσα από τη συζήτηση και την ενημέρωση να σχηματιστεί μια πλήρης εικόνα των τεκταινόμενων & ευκαιριών επί Οικονομικών Ευρωπαϊκών Θεμάτων. Βασικότερο ζητούμενο για εμάς είναι να επιχειρήσουμε να φέρουμε πιο κοντά τους νέους με την πολιτική και με την ευρωπαϊκή της διάσταση κυρίως, η οποία έχει δεχθεί ένα ισχυρό πλήγμα στην αξιοπιστία της.

The Institute of Research and Training on European Affairs establishes a new institution in Greece, the “European Economic Forum”. Inspiration for the creation of the European Economic Forum was the absence of financial information on European issues even after the financial crisis. The European Economic Forum aims firstly to the update and then the discussion between citizens, teachers, corporate executives, representatives of civil society and State officials and Agencies, so that through discussion and information to form a complete picture of the proceedings and the opportunities on the European Affairs. Main challenge for us is to try and bring closer young people with politics and with its European dimension in particular, which has received a powerful blow to its credibility.
